Come May 4th 2013, Ugandan rapper, Navio is going to be among the hosts of the Africa Global DJ Awards in which two Ugandan DJ’s were nominated.

Navio will host together with SABC’s Lareto, Soundcity TV’s Adams, Channel O’s Denrele, Cool FM’s Shine and Barbs of Big Brother Africa.

The show is scheduled to take place at the Sandton Convention Center, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Two Ugandan DJ’s were nominated for the show. Among these is DJ Shiru who was nominated in the Best Club DJ category together with DJ Flavia, DJ Zimo, DJ Spinall, DJ Waxy and DJ Killa Fingers. DJ Aluda was nominated in the Best East Africa DJ category together with DJ Creme De La Creme, DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Kumi, DJ Donnaccia and DJ Jahawi all of whom are from Kenya.
