Member of Parliament for Agago county, Amos Okot has donated an ambulance worth  51M shillings to his constituency.

While announcing the news to reporters at parliament on Thursday ,Okot said that since many women in his area are suffering to access the hospital, he has decided to give them an ambulance as their gift on the women’s Day scheduled for  tomorrow.

He said that women in Agago have many challenges of which this ambulance will help to solve some problems like maternal issues.

Agago district is one of the remote areas with a population of 700 people with 16 sub-counties, this ambulance will soften the work of healthy centre’s IIIs  to attend to expected mothers.
