The police in Koro Sub County in Gulu district have advised a local resident who has been left with a 3 month old baby now for a week to take it to  Watoto baby’s home in Gulu.

The 3 month old baby was left in a compound of one ,Samuel Okumu who allegedly impregnated one woman identified as Nancy Aber.

Kanal Mwaka the Officer in charge of Koro Police post told journalists today that Okumu last saw Aber when she was only one month pregnant.

Mwaka suspects that because Okumu has not been giving help to Aber could be the reason she dumped the baby to him .

Aber reportedly dropped  the baby at Okumu’s home at 4:00am  in the morning last Sunday.

Mwaka also said that they are trailing for Aber whom they said that will be charged for child neglect.

The 3 month old baby is being fed on Milk daily by Okumu’s Mother who yet needs to decide whether to take the baby to Watoto baby’s home in Gulu, or wait for the mother [who is said to be hiding in Pader District] to be found.
