The Police in Amuru district yesterday recovered a body of a man suspected to have been killed and tied on a tree at Elegu boarder post.
The police officer in charge of traffic along the greater North road, Stephen Odongkara say they could not identify the deceased because there wasn’t any identification document found on his body adding even residents of Elegu could not identify the man.
Odongkara says the police will transport the body to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital for a postmortem.
He urges the local residents to help the police with details concerning the deceased.
Odongkara also calls on the residents there to help identify the corpse so that the police may begin investigations
