Police in Wakiso district are  hunting for a man who has been selling dogs’ meat in Kampala city.

The man identified as Christopher Nakabale was not at his residence in Nabiwojolo village when Kampala City Council Authority  health team and police raided his home on Thursday.

The KCCA team and police had been tipped by the residents the Nakabale has over 70 dogs at his place and each morning ,motorcycles live his home with things loaded as meat and  they suspect that it is Dogs’ meat which is ferried daily to be sold in Kampala city.

Police suspect that Nakabale has been selling the dogs meat to unsuspecting people as pork.

The residents said that he even has a butcher in Nsambya, a Kampala suburb  where he sells the suspected dog meat.

His wife whose names were not revealed by press time was arrested immediately to help police in investigations.
