Mukono police is hunting for unknown assailants who beat up a resident left him unconscious and robbed him.

Edward Ssenkubuge a resident of Nabuti village in Mukono central division is said to have been beaten up by the assailants along Colline street as he was on his way to Eagle’s pub at mid night .

The victim who is in great pain says that he was approached by three men travelling in a motor car UAM 102Y.They requested him to direct them to the road heading to Katosi and turned against him, beat him up and took off with his phone and  shs400,000.

He was discovered lying helpless by a motor cycle cyclist only identified as Rogers who called police and he was rushed to Mukono health center IV.

The officer in charge of crime investigations Mukono police station Henry Mugumya has said that police has started its investigations and when caught, they will be charged.
