Vote counting in Kenya is underway as the world waits to see who will win this year’s elections.
In Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta’s supporters are jubilating over provisional results which indicate Kenyatta taking the lead with 54% of the votes so far submitted seconded by Raila Odinga who has 41% of the votes. So far, 8,000 polling stations have submitted their results. It was reported that there are over 33,000 polling stations around the country.
These results however are not taking into consideration Kenyans voting out of the country like those who voted in Uganda.
The following results show the provisional results according to the Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (IBEC).
