Hundreds of people have paid tribute to the former first deputy prime minister, Eriya Kategaya who at the time of his death was the minister of East African Affairs.

Hundreds of people flocked the parliament lobby to pay their respects to the minister who died in Nairobi on Saturday morning at Nairobi Hospital. His body was shipped back to Uganda yesterday, Monday 4th and received at Entebbe airport by Gen. Aronda Nyakairima, Gen. Kale Kayihura and relatives.

After the public viewing, a special seating in parliament will be held in which ministers and MPs will pay special tribute to the deceased.

He will be buried on Thursday after prayers which will be held tomorrow in Kololo.
