Over 56 Pupils of Amuru Lamogi Primary school in Amuru District have been left with no class rooms after their roofs were blown off by a strong wind during last night’s heavy down pour.

The heavy rain which begun at around 10:00pm  in Amuru is also said to have destroyed the roof of a resource center among other buildings.

The councilor  for Lamogi Sub County, James Kilara said he visited the school and found pupils stranded in the compound.

Kilara urges well-wishers to come to the rescue of the school so that the pupils can resume their lessons.

Vincent Ojera the Headmaster of the school when contacted confirmed the matter and said that they have decided to put the pupils in one class in the meantime.
