Just when you think you know it all, they come right out and shock you, and that is what Gwyneth Paltrow did in an interview with The Mail.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she had a miscarriage which left her devastated. Paltrow is mother to two children and is married to Coldplay singer, Chris Martin since 2003. “I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?’”

Paltrow has a daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6.

Despite the pain and hurt, she admits that her children keep on asking her to have another child. “My children ask me to have a baby all the time,” explains the 40-year-old. “And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it.”

Talking about her husband, she said, “To know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you,” she says. “We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support.”

Paltrow follows the footsteps of Beyonce who revealed in her documentary, ‘Life is But a Dream’ that she had a miscarriage before giving birth to her now one year old daughter, Blu Ivy with husband, Jay Z.
