Government has issued a burial program of the late 1st deputy prime minister Eriya Kategaya who passed away in Kenya’s capital Nairobi on Saturday last week.
The minister for presidency who is the chairperson of the burial committee Frank Tumwebaze said that the government will meet all the expenses for the burial .
Minister Tumwebaze told news reporters at Media centre today that tomorrow the body of Kategaya will be brought to parliament for last respect and on Wednesday there will be a national prayers at Kololo jubilee grounds.
He also stated that government will publicly reveal the cause of late Kategaya’s death after his family permitting government to do it.
According to the Media reports, the late Kategaya died on Saturday from Nairobi hospital after suffering from a condition known as Thrombosis (a blockage preventing the flow of blood in the body caused by a clot or a lump of blood).
The late Kategaya was born in 1945 and he has died at 67years.
