Google have created a pair of talking shoes that can communicate with the person wearing them. The Google Talking Shoe is fitted with gadgets that measure movement, direction, and balance.
They also come with speakers and relay information to whoever has them on.
For example if someone is sat down for a long period of time the talking trainers may say “this is boring”.
And if you’re being a lazy couch potato your fancy footwear can kick you into gear by giving you a timely message to get off your bum.
The gadgets are programmed to translate the pressure sensor and accelerometer readings into simple audio instructions for the wearer.
ArtCopyCode by Google teamed up with Zachary Lieberman, founder of YesYesNo, to create a “Talking Shoe” .
The Talking shoe gadget sends data via installed mechanisms and sends it out to a web app for social media broadcasting on Google+ and more.
