Eriya Kategaya, the late minister for East African affairs is going to be laid to rest today in his home town of Itojo in Ntugamo.
According to the Minister for the Presidency & Minister for Kampala Capital City Authority, Frank Tumwebaze, a church service will be held in Itojo at 10:00am at St. Augustine Church of Uganda The burial is scheduled to take place at 2:00pm although Mr. Tumwebaze said it will largely depend on how long the speeches will take.
The President is expected to be one of the people to give a speech although he is expected to arrive at 12:00pm.
Mr. Kategaya died last week on Saturday 2nd March in Nairobi from thrombosis. He is survived by a wife, children and grandchildren.
Kategaya died aged 70 years of age.
