Eriya Kategaya’s Burial Arrangements/program runs as follows according to a release issued by the Information Minister Karooro Okurut.
The body of the late First deputy Premier Eriya Tukahirwa Kategaya will arrive from Nairobi, Kenya by 8:30am.
On Tuesday Parliament will convene to pay tribute to the late former East African Affairs minister after public viewing of the body earlier in the day.
On Wednesday, a requiem mass will be held for the late Kategaya at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero.
On Thursday ,his body will be taken to his native Ntungamo home district for burial.
Eriya Kategaya 70 passed away on Saturday from Nairobi Hospital in Kenya where he was suffering from a condition known as Thrombosis, caused by a blockage preventing the flow of blood in the body..
Born July 4, 1945,Eriya Tukahirwa Kategaya also served as Minister for East African Affairs by the time of his death.
