Africa Global DJ awards have nominated DJ Shiru and DJ Aluda for their 2013 DJ awards.

DJ Shiru has been nominated in the Best Club DJ category together with DJ Flavia, DJ Zimo, DJ Spinall, DJ Waxy and DJ Killa Fingers.

DJ Aluda has been nominated in the Best East Africa DJ category together with DJ Creme De La Creme, DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Kumi, DJ Donnaccia and DJ Jahawi all of whom are from Kenya.

The nominees were officially announced March 1st at a Press Conference event at the Labadi Beach Hotel, in Accra. “We are very excited about the final nomination list and even more excited about the prospect of recognizing Africa’s top DJs “ said Mr. Tope Esan. “We are now in full preparation mode for the voting process and the main Award show coming up in Johannesburg” Mr. Mohammed Mustapha Alfa added.

Voting started March 15th. Winners will be announced at the main event on May 4th, 2013 at the Sandton Convention Center, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The show will be hosted by Rapper Navio and SABC’s Lareto.
