Demi Moore has finally filed the divorce papers to make her separation official from Ashton Kutcher.

Moore filed the divorce papers yesterday, Wednesday  6th March 2013.

According to the New York Post, Moore is tired of being unable to reach a settlement with his 35-year-old husband; at first, she wanted to settle the divorce via confidential agreements. She did not want to file the divorce before the confidential agreements were reached but now, the divorce will have to go on trial.

The Post quoted an insider who said that Kutcher has been especially “difficult” and “hostile” throughout the process. “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made — but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much,” the source said, emphasizing that Moore is fed up.

“Demi is definitely ready to move on,” the source said of her decision to file. “It’s hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring. Otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial.”

Kutcher and Moore, 50, split in November 2011 following rumors that Kutcher had an affair with a 22-year-old on the night of his and Moore’s six-year anniversary. Kutcher is now dating 29-year-old Mila Kunis.
