The Basoga have asked government to officially inaugurate their elected king ,Wako Muloki’s heir, Prince Edward Columbus Wambuzi.

A group of Busoga Kingdom loyalists made the demand of Wambuzi’s inauguration during a  communal cleanup exercise at Nakabango  palace on Sunday .

The clean up exercise at Nabango palace began in the morning and ended in the afternoon. The Basoga loyal to  prince Columbus Wambuzi slashed around the palace and were greatly hailed for the good work done .

Prince Wambuzi thanked all those who took part in the exercise and asked them to continue loving their kingdom no matter the challenges it is going through.

After the exercise the participants in the clean up demanded that government inaugurate their King before the end of this year,2013

“For more than five  years now ,we have been like children without a father.We ask the government to innaugurate our elected King as soon as possible ” One elder said

Besides Columbus Wambuzi ,The Busoga Kingdom crown is also claimed by  Prince William Nadiope, who is considered by many as the accepted successor to the late Kyabazinga Henry Wako Muloki who passed away in 2008 after a long illness.
