The Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education is going to hold its 17th graduation ceremony today at the main campus in Kakeeka Mengo.

Kabaka 1Thousands have already gathered for the occasion which is going to be officiated by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.

795 students are expected to graduate today. The Kabaka is expected to arrive at the graduation grounds at 10:00am. Graudands, by 8:00am were expected to have taken their seats, at 9:00am, guests were expected to arrive, at 9:45am, the Katikiro of Buganda, JB. Walusimbi is expected to arrive and later on, the Kabaka.

According to the Principal of the institute, Anthony, the Kabaka, upon arriving at the Institute, will head to the Principal’s office and wear the official attire before heading for the ceremony.

A new building is also expected to be opened today after the ceremony.
