City Businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba has been sent back to  Luzira prison following the cancellation of his bail  by the Anti Corruption Court  .

Basajabalaba appeared at the court today  where   the Anti-Corruption Court chief magistrate Irene Akankwasa made the ruling.

Basajjabalaba is accused of forging a consent judgment which shielded him from paying sh20.1bn in taxes accruing from his sh142bn compensation for city markets.

The Anti-corruption Court had  granted  Basajjabalaba cash bail sh60m in January .
