The Mivule Trust Fund, a charitable nongovernmental Organization has announced plans to introduce Green House farming in Amuru District.

Mathias Birungi, an official at Mivule Trust Fund while talking to residents of Bana in Amuru district said that they  are interested in helping Amuru residents recover from the 20 decades LRA war.

He said that they intend to train a few farmers from Bana village who will then come back to train the local farmers on the use of Green House.

Birungi said that land in Bana is very fertile compared to other areas .He  encouraged the local residents to engage in Agriculture as soon as the project is launched.

He also explained that with green house farming, the farmers in Amuru will need only a few plots of land and that it will be easier for them to control pests and diseases.

He said that Mivule Trust Fund is working together with the local leaders in Amuru so that the district may develop.

A greenhouse is a structural building with different types of covering materials, such as a glass or plastic roof and frequently glass or plastic walls.

The Plastic wall heats up by the sun and it is absorbed by plants, soil, and other things inside the building.
