Over 60 Seminarians of Alokolum Major seminary school were yesterday given foster mothers who will be responsible for their welfare while at the seminary.

The fostered Alokolum Seminarians are all in First year and are from different parts of Uganda.

While attending the exercise, Bishop John Baptist Odama explained that the idea of fostering Seminarians begun during the 1997 at the epic of LRA war.

Bishop Odama notes that most of the seminarians in 1997 could not travel back to their homes and they were lacking support while at the seminary.

The Bishop said that the exercise was also carried out in most of the seminaries in Uganda.
