Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Alison has gotten married to long time boyfriend, Stacy Poitras.
The couple exchanged vows during a small ceremony in Calabasas, California at Saddlepeak Ranch. According to People magazine, Alison wore a ‘a 1930s-inspired beaded gown by Les Habitudes for day.
The guests included Clint, of course, Alison’s mother Maggie; her jazz musician brother Kyle Eastwood; actor brother Scott Eastwood of Trouble with the Curve; sister Kathryn Eastwood; Clint’s wife Dina Eastwood and Poitras’s brothers Mark, Matt and Bobby.
“I feel like I am the luckiest guy in the world because Alison is truly an angel, we are both very happy,’ Poitras said after the two were got engaged.
Alison and Poitras met five years ago at a bar in Agoura Hills, California, where Stacy also has an art studio. They co-star on the CMT reality show Chainsaw Gang. Poitros first asked Mr. Eastwood for his daughter’s hand in marriage before popping the question. “I actually asked for his permission three years ago at a Thanksgiving dinner in Pebble Beach,” he explained. “After the meal, I quietly asked him when we were alone if it would be alright if I asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage. He cooly looked me in the eye and softly said, “You better take that up with her,” to which I replied, “So, I have your permission?” and he said “Yes.”‘ Talking about his father in law, Poitras said, “Clint is a cool guy… but he’s definitely a man of few words.’
Alison, 40, is the third of Clint’s seven children by his first wife, model Maggie Johnson. Alison starred opposite her father in the 1984 film Tightrope and 1997 Absolute Power before making her directorial debut in 2007 with Rails & Ties, starring Kevin Bacon.
