The boyfriend of deceased Butaleja Woman MP, Cerinah Nebanda, Adam Kalungi is facing fresh charges in connection to the death of Nebanda.

Kalungi faces charges of supplying and dispensing restricted drugs to the deceased MP. The drugs in question are cocaine and heroine.

He was issued with the fresh charges while appearing at the Makindye court presided over by Justice Esther Nambayo.

Kalungi at the moment is facing charges of man slaughter, charges he denies although he at first admitted to killing Nebanda. He is charged together with five others.

Kalungi was arrested from Kenya where he had run to after the death of Nebanda last year.
