Anti graft activists under the Black Monday movement stormed Wandegeya police station on Monday morning to answer to the cases pressed against them by police related to distributing the black Monday news paper at Makerere University.

Led by Bishop Niringiye and their legal team led by David Mpanga , the group stormed the police but were surprised to hear that there has been a seven days extension of the bond which they say is a trick to keep them reporting to police and abandon their activism which they say will not happen.

Bishop Niringiye stated that activism against theft of public resources will aggressively continue onĀ  and off the streets until government answers their call.

Bishop Niringiye was arrested on 4th February 2013 in Makerere University and was accused of inciting violence among the populace and distributing unlawful material to public.
