The Uganda National Examinations Board yesterday released the 2012 Business and Technical Education Examinations results.
According the the results ,there is a remarkable improvement in performance compared to last year’s performance.UNEB’s executive Secretary ,Mathew Bukenya revealed that there was a 40% improvement increase adding that the 2012 performance was the best ever since 2006 when the Business and Technical Education started.
The State Minister for Higher Education Hon .J.C .Muyingo said the number of female candidates who sat in 2012 was higher than those who sat in 2011 with a percentage increase of 3.2% from 12.5% to 15.7%.
There were no cases of examination malpractice in the technical exams . He hailed the UNEB staff, supervisors, Uganda Police, scouts, and examiners for the good work.
