A lady estimated to be in her mid twenties  was this morning  smashed to death by a trailer after falling off from a motorcycle.

On lookers said that the motorcyclists carrying the  woman tried to overtake other cars when the traffic lights set them to go .He however underestimated the closeness of the cars ,which forced the girl to jump off the motorcycle in fear.

Unfortunately she fell in the middle of the road and was hit by a trailer.

The officer in charge of traffic on Shell Jinja road ,Abel Gawona  said that woman’s head was crashed by the tyres and she died instantly  while the motorcyclist escaped immediately.
By press  time her  body  had been rushed to Mulago Hospital in the police vehicle accompanied by her relatives who managed to arrive at the scene after the tragic accident.

Officer Gawona has warned all motorcyclists to desist from overtaking cars and over speeding especially while on busy roads.
