By  Martha Nakimuli

Uganda’s Vice President has suggested that all employers across the country start  testing their employees’ patriotism during job interviews.

While officiating the launch of Salaama Vocational Institute in Lyantode district on Monday ,Ssekandi noted that if singing the national anthem is included in job interview questions,at least people will learn it easily in fear of not being employed.

“According to what I have overheard being suggested by many employers, the national anthem would be among the many questions during interviews for job-seekers,” he said.

The Uganda National Anthem was composed by the late  Prof. George Kakoma. It is comprised of three stanzas.

However ,simple media surveys conducted towards Uganda’s Golden jubilee celebrations found out that few Ugandan adults can sing the anthem in full.
