Uganda’s Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage ,Maria Mutagamba has said that government is now more than ever committed to boosting tourism in Uganda.
The minister was presiding over the launch of a water hotel in Entebbe which targets both local and foreign tourists.Though the hotel is still at the first level ,Mutagamba said that the revenue from the first level will help in building other levels.The hotel is expected to be complete in at least six months.
He said that the hotel will be having boats to transport people to different islands.
Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) Executive Director, Mr. James Musinguzi encouraged Ugandans to make use of this hotel since it is also meant for boosting tourism locally.
He added that the hotel on water will be convenient for parties ,birthdays and other amusement activities.
