Country singer, Taylor Swift is being sued for $2.5m which she got for a performance at hoedown in Canada but ended up not performing.
The show got cancelled but Swift kept the money. She was supposed to appear for a country music concert in Ottawa in August 2012 called the Capital Hoedown but the promoters cancelled the show.
In the law suit filed in federal court in New York, Swift got all of her money up front. $1.8 million in tickets was refunded and now they think she should foot the bill. However, Swift’s representative says she never made a deal with the ticket company.
