A Sudanese man in  has killed  his  entire family over a failed bride Price payment.

Baak Bol Kuol, a former police officer in Bhar al Ghazel  shot dead  his  wife and two children on Friday last week  as a relief from his in -laws who have been demanding bride price from some  time .

Bol  had paid part of the  dowry when  he was separated from  his wife and  children  in 2010 .The separation had been done in fulfillment of the Dinka culture where  a woman is told to leave the man’s place if he has not paid all the bride price.

With continued pressure to pay all the dowry ,Bol headed  to Aweil State, where  his wife and children were leaving  and shot them dead.The Dinka man  later shot himself and the family is no more.
