Police in Mukono have arrested a 35- year-old armed security guard for robbing a Stirling company and carrying out illegal operations in Mbalala town ,Mukono district.

The suspect has been identified as Denis Nsabimana a resident of Seeta Goma division and a security guard attached to Falcon security limited.

It is alleged that Nsabimana  traveled from Falcon limited and staged at the gate of Stirling company located in Mbalala and tried  to rob night workers using a gun containing bullets.

He was however seen by the area defense secretary Godfrey Lugolobi who was carrying out  a night patrol and informed Mbalala police which arrested him.

The Officer in Charge of Operations Mbalala police post, John Ariko told the press that the suspect is going to be charged with attempted robbery and will appear in court.

He  added that he has been carrying out illegal operations and  terrorizing residents especially those who travel at night.
