Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze Bakireke has threatened to mobilize her constituents  and demonstrate  if the ministry of works fail to work on the roads in her area under the central Government.

The MP made the threats after officials from the ministry of works inspected the roads and promised to start working on these roads next month.
Nambooze says that the roads that are in  appalling state include Kyetume- Katosi ,Seeta- Namugongo, Misindye-Kasayi, Kirowoza, Namanve and Mukono Kayunga among others.

She said that by working on Kirowooza-Namanve road (Old Kampala-Jinja Highway) will  easE on the traffic jam on the Kampala Jinja high way.

Nambooze lamented that  some of the roads in her area were last worked on during the colonial days.
