The anti corruption coalition wants Government to take action against quality chemicals for breach of contract and inflating the prices of ARV’s and anti malarial sold to government.

The Anti corruption coalition executive director Cissy Kagaba alleges that quality chemicals has breached the agreement to manufacture all drugs here but instead only 16% is manufactured and the rest imported.

Mrs Kagaba added that according to the 2011 IGG report, quality chemicals has been acting as a middleman for Government to purchase drugs abroad but instead they have inflated prices causing a 44 billion shillings tax payers money loss .

Meanwhile the executive director quality chemicals Emanuel Katongole has dismissed the allegations and said that they are false, malicious with an aim to taint the image of quality chemicals by individuals.
