President  Yoweri Museveni met with different  NRM leaders in Butaleja district on Friday and urged  them to unite for the common goals of the party and the development of the country .

Museveni met  Butaleja district National Resistance Movement leaders and councilors  at Butaleja district headquarters in Bukedi Sub-Region, Eastern Uganda.

Museveni succeeded reuniting  Uganda’s High Commossioner to Tanzania Dorothy Hyuha and Bunyole East MP Emmanuel Dombo.The two agreed to supporting the NRM candidate,Florance Nebanda  in the by-election set for February 11.

Other  defeated contestants in the Butaleja election including ; Allen Wegulo, Aida Hadoto, Sarah Namusari and Nasihye also accepted to support  NRM’s Florence Nebanda in the by-elections.

President Museveni also forgave all those people who accused government of having a hand in the death of the late Cerina Nebanda .He expressed his  earnest  condolences to the people of Butaleja district upon the death of a youthful hardworking  MP like Cerinah Nebanda.
