The police in Gulu have greatly thanked the public in observing good discipline during the Valentine’s Day  celebration on Thursday .

James Asubu said that they never registered any crimes on Valentine’s Day.

Asubu attributes the success to the role of the police, local leaders and the media which he said  played a significant role in helping the police.

He also called on the general public to always work together with the security personnel so that those who want to cause insecurity are arrested from the community.

Gulu town host over 7,000 people every day since it is a town along the Southern Sudan where many traders flock to do business.
