Pentecostal pastors have ordered fellow pastor, Pastor David Kiganda of ‘Christianity Focus Center’ to get married.

Pastor Kiganda has spent seven years without a woman and now he is required by fellow pastors to get married, and very quickly. The pastors, led by Pastor Isaac Mpawulo said that for some time, they have been requesting the pastor to get married and he kept on making empty promises to them. They also said they do not know who his ‘woman’ is.

Pastor Mpawulo said meetings were held to solve the problem of Pastor Kiganda who has an obligation to lead the people back to God. Pastor Kiganda separated from his wife, Hadijah Nassejje after finding her committing adultery. The meetings were first held by pastors from his church.

Several reasons brought up as to why the pastor has to get married are many. One of them is that he has a church were most of the congregation is married so how is he going to guide them when he himself is not married? He is also being considered as the next leader of all pentecostal churches after the current leader, Alex Mitala leaves office.

Pastor Kiganda has promised to fulfill this requirement in no time at all.
