The chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee also  Terego MP, Kasiano Wadri has lamented about the money that was lost in the   investigation into the misuse of PRDP  funds in the Office  of the Prime Minister.

The disappointed MP was pointing at the halted OPM probe which the Directorate  of Public Prosecution says was influencing other investigations.

Following a complaint from the Director of Public Prosecution, Richard Butera,the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga stopped the investigations into the alleged financial misuse of the Prime Minister’s office this week .

The PAC leader ,Wadri says since  the probe was launched three months ago ,a lot of money has been spent.

“Every time we meet here ,we take tea,we take soda ,and now the probe is stopped ! this is again the tax payer’s money wasted ” he MP lamented
In a letter dated February 6th, Butera wrote to the Speaker asking her to advise the PAC to stop the investigations saying they are prejudicial to the ongoing Court criminal proceedings.
