Adele has won the Best Original Song for her song in James Bond movie, Skyfall alongside co-writer, Paul Epworth at the Oscars.

Skyfall, belonging to the James Bond franchise had the largest sales in the history of the James Bond movies with $1 billion in ticket sales world-wide.

The 85th Oscars were held Sunday 24th and were hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.

While receiving the award, a tearful Adele thanked Epworth for “believing in me all the time, and my man, I love you baby”. It has also won an award for best sound editing, which was tied with Zero Dark Thirty becoming the third time in Oscar history that winners have been tied. She then went on to perform live for the first time doing the 23rd Bond film’s title track.

Adele then wowed the audience of A-listers with her first ever live performance of the 23rd Bond film’s title track.
