The speaker of the Uganda  parliament ,Rebbecca Kadaga has assured Ugandans that Parliamentary investigations into the financial mismanagement  in the Office of the Prime Minister will resume immediately after court  completes its criminal proceedings against Geoffrey Kazinda and other suspects in the scam.

Speaking the the press on Wednesday ,Kadaga said that all the people who were supposed to be interrogated by PAC will do so and no one will escape.

“I am committed as I was ,all people expected at the committee ,will be at the the committee” Kadaga stated on Thursday

The Speaker added  that the Director of Public Prosecution Richard Butera has promised to expedite the cases to allow the PAC to submit its report to Parliament.

Meanwhile the DPP   also maintains that the PAC probe was  interfering with court proceedings.

By the time the probe was halted ,the Prime Minister ,Amama Mbabazi and the minister for Karamoja Affairs ,Janet Museveni had also expressed their willingness to appear at the committee.

The First lady Janet Museveni had even asked the committee to outline the issues they desire her to put clear in relation to PRDP funds.
