The NRM Parliamentary caucus is seating this morning to form a consensus on the issues that will be debated in the house this week.
Among the issues to be discussed is the Public Order Management Bill and the Energy Sector report that is awaiting debate in the house.
The party chairman Yoweri Museveni is also expected to attend.
This will be the third time the caucus meets over the Public Order Management Bill since legislators made slight amendments to some of the contentious clauses in the bill.
One of the clauses that were amended is that clause that requires organizers of assemblies to notify police 5 days to the event and instead made 7 days as had been proposed in the bill.
The caucus maintained that the organizers of assemblies should be held accountable for processions, demonstration and public meetings in case they contravene the law.
The meeting will reach a party position before the bill is debated and passed into law by parliament.
