Kampala district woman MP Nabirah Sseempala and Mukono municipality MP Betty Namb0oze have opened a war of words over KCCA affairs.

Hon Nabirah says that Hon Nambooze is not representing Kampala adding that she doesn’t have any authority to handle Kampala issues.

Nabirah was  on Thursday responding to Nambooze’s petition she tabled at the floor of parliament last year on behalf of the Lord Mayor and councilors over the  alleged mismanagement of funds in KCCA.

‘’I don’t see how Nambooze enters in Kampala issues. I would have been the one to present that petition on behalf of my voters because I am the area MP. Nambooze has her area she represents in parliament. KCCA issues needs to be settled by the Kampala division MPs not Nambooze.

Nabilah added that she also doesn’t have any authority to handle Mukono Affairs when Nambooze is available’ The angry Nabirah stressed.

Hon Nabirah further accused Nambooze for conniving with Lukwago the lord mayor and cause confusions in the city.

When contacted Hon Nambooze said that Hon Nabirah is just feeling jealousy because the Lord Mayor chose her to present the petition at parliament , the reason why  she has started  spiting fire.

‘’For me I did my part it’s now up her also to make own petition but the committee is in its final torches on the investigations on KCCA fraud’’ Nambooze noted
