Members of parliament have today accused the Kampala city council Authority executive director Jenifer Musisi of compromising the media such that it can  fail to publish the dirty work in KCCA.

MPs who included Kyadondo East Ibrahim Semuju, Rubaga North Moses Kasibante and Mukono municipality Betty Nambooze  allege that Musisi influenced the  media not  to publish the story  about the state of Kampala following the city tour last week.

The Angry MPs said that the media deliberately refused to publish the state of Kafumbe Mukasa road, the city mortuary in Mulago and Kitenzi village were KCCA dump garbage.

“Madam Musisi has put the media in her pockets. The editors of different media House must explain to why the story of the state of Kafumbe Mukasa road was not viewed” Said Kyadondo East Mp Ibrahim Semuju Nganda

“Madam Musisi was given 5billions  to reconstruct the Kafumbe Mukasa road but the road was not constructed and the money was not accounted for. Mrs Musisi would have remained in her factory which makes cakes and ‘Mandasis’ if she did not want to give accountability of Tax payer’s money”Said Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante.

“Although Madam Musisi buys the Media,we shall remain firm by asking the accountability of the Money in KCCA.We want the accountability of the 700M shilling which was allocated for city mortuary,the 5bshilling meant to reconstruct Kafumbe Mukasa road,the shs17b  for garbage collection and the shs16b for the youth in Kampala. ” Hon Nambooze noted
