Kawempe south Member of Parliament Sebuliba Mutumba has urged the parliamentary committee of local government and public service to summon president Museveni over the KCCA matters.

Appearing before the committee to give his views about the KCCA petition on mismanaging  KCCA funds , Hon Mutumba told MPs that they should summon president Museveni because he may give a clear position on the current controversies especially between the mayor and the executive director.

“President Museveni should be summoned over KCCA matters because he is the god father of KCCA.He have a hidden hand in the authority. The committee needs to interact with the president and hear his views as far as wrangles in KCCA are concerned” Hon Mutumba noted

He also added that the wrangles in KCCA are not between the executive director and the mayor; they are between the mayor and president Museveni.

Meanwhile  Kyadondo East MP Semuju Nganda has accused president Museveni for failing the work of the Deputy Lord Mayor ,Suleiman Kidandala.

Hon Semuju said that president Museveni has his own deputy mayor  of interest ,the  reason why  the current lord mayor is not reorganized by the executive director.

He added that Mr President called all Kampala division councilors on  the NRM ticket at state house Entebbe and elected their own mayor by the names of Madinah Nsereko.
