Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze calls for the appointment of a minister to specifically handle KCCA Affairs.Hon Nambooze says that the minister in charge of Kampala Frank Tumwebaze is handling KCCA issues slowly because he is also holding another docket as a minister for presidency.

The legislator says that getting an independent minister for Kampala will help in resolving matters in KCCA very fast like other ministries.

She made this call after the minister in charge of Kampala Frank Tumwebaze revealed that he does not have a vote to run the office of KCCA minister.

During the same meeting , Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante noted  that the practice of ministers holding more than one office has resulted into failure to deliver on their duties.
