Mukono Municipality MP ,Betty Nambooze has toured Mukono roads and demanded the Uganda National Roads Authority to  work on the poor roads in just two weeks.

Nambooze  started her fact finding mission on Friday morning and was accompanied by some officials from UNRA. The MP with her team started from Kyetume -Katosi road and later proceeded to Mukono Bugerere road. She then headed to Seeta Namugongo road where she commented that roads are in a very poor state and need immediate attention by government.

She noted that government has been putting the roads on the the list of those to be worked upon for the last ten  financial years but nothing has been done yet.

She threatened to block Jinja and Kampala roads off from  passing through Mukono  if nothing is done about the roads.

Nambooze  ended her tour in the afternoon.
