The Member of Parliament for Kibuku county Saleh Kamba has said the recent media reports about his detention over fake documents were false which aimed at diverting some people from his petition currently in the constitutional court.

Speaking to journalists at parliament, Kamba said that although he recorded a statement at the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka last week, he was not detained as reported by some media houses.

He also said, the reports of his detention were cooked by some individuals within the NRM party who have all along been working for his down fall citing his blockage from the ministerial position.

Kamba added that he was cleared by the courts but some people keep renewing former issues for which he got clearance so that they also frustrate his parliamentary commissioner bid for which has been tipped in addition to dodging the pending court costs where he has so far won  many times.
