Makindye West MP Hussein Kyanjo has flown out of the country again to seek more treatment of a condition called Dystonia.
Hussein Kyanjo returned to Uganda in September last year after spending several months in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for treatment.
Kyanjo initially suffered from a jaw dislocation but was later diagnosed with Dystonia, a disease which causes involuntary shaking. Kyanjo suffers from vocal dystonia or dystonia of the tongue which he said makes speech difficult and painful.
In the past months ,the MP has been seeking Shs 75m to cover his medical costs in UK.Parliament has given Kyanjo shs100 million to pay for his medical bills and allowances.He is expected to spend there a month.
Hussein Kyanjo’s disorder Dystonia may be hereditary or caused by other factors such as birth-related or other physical trauma, infection, poisoning (e.g., lead poisoning) or reaction to pharmaceutical drugs, particularly neuroleptics.
