Residents of Bulamu village in Namungo sub-county in Mityana districts have appealed to the state minister of lands Aidah Nantaba to come and rescue them from an investor who is chasing them from their land.

Over 100 residents say that they have stayed on the land over years but the investor wants to evict them without any compensation.

The residents added that the local investor told them to leave the land and develop it.

“We want minister Nantaba to come and rescue us. We don’t have any were to go. We have been here for many years. The investor has refused to compensate us, he just want to evict us because he wants to develop the area” The residents noted
