Cabinent ministers have today convened in a 2 day retreat at twin Towers House in Kampala.

According to the source that attended the meeting chaired by the prime minister Amama Mbabazi, it is intended to review  annual  performances of different ministries.

The source also told us that the Vice president Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi also attended the retreat together with the permanent secretaries of different ministries and the residentail district commissioners (RDCS).

Last month during NRM retreat in Kyankwanzi the MPS agreed to  support the penalties and strict punitive measures against the institutions which  fail to utilize the funds given to officials during the budgetprocess.

The caucus spokesperson Evelyn Antie said that members agreed to reshuffle all government officials in charge of over seeing the utilization of funds allocated on their budget.
