The minister of state for Northern Uganda has called upon donor communities to emulate the spirit exhibited by European Union and continue supporting the people of northern Uganda.
While addressing the press today ,minister Rebecca Amuge Otengo noted that northern Uganda has faced a lot of challenges following the LRA insurgency and still needs a lot of intervention in different forms like education,health ,and agriculture..
The Minister explained that the locals who have left their internally displaced camps need help in order to settle down and begin to improve on their livelihoods.
The minister however cautioned the general public against over politicizing the current corruption scandals in the country but rather concentrate of thinking of the way forward.
